This workbook complements the Workplace Safety for US worker textbook and is meant to provide "hands" on activity and reference material to aid understanding of workplace safety standards and the bases for those standards. It will foster student comprehension on both an introspective and practical level creating a contextual perspective that allows student reflection as both benefactor and steward of workplace safety.
This text addresses safety awareness, federal/state/local compliance, inspections, risk analysis, workplace violence, substance abuse, health hazards, first aid, CPR, fire and electrical safety, and emergency preparedness.
