Accessing resources from off-campus

The Library subscribes to many electronic resources, including Films on Demand. Access to these paid subscriptions is RESTRICTED to students, faculty, and staff of Honolulu Community College.

Off-campus users will be prompted to login via the UH Web Login Service when attempting to connect to a database; this is considered "remote authentication."

Valid HonCC students must login with their UH username and password. (Example above) Once you have been authenticated, you will have direct access to the library e-resource you selected.

You will NOT be permitted to access any e-resources if...

  • you are not an active HonCC student, staff, or faculty member

Contact the library right away if you cannot access a database or e-resource.
